Heritage Open Days
The
Museum is only open
on a "walk-in" basis during the annual Heritage
Open Days weekend and our Summer Open Days.
During
2010, we will participate in the "2010 Festival of Stamps" set up to
celebrate 70 years since the accession of George V,
the
philatelist King. As part of our committment, we will be staging
two extra Public Open Days with themed displays
about
George V, his times and the role of the Post Office.
Satrurday 29th May 2010
Saturday 10th July 2010
Saturday & Sunday 11th & 12th
September 2010.
The
Museum will be open to the public without an appointment from 10.00am
until 4.00pm on these days. There will be special displays, access to
the restoration workshop and activities for the children. Special
commemorative covers will be available on the day.
The
Museum is open by appointment at any other reasonable time, subject to
one of our team being available, so why not e-mail us if you are
