Head Street is the A131 Chelmsford to Sudbury road. The Museum is located 1/4 mile north of the town centre on the left-hand side of the road as you leave the town. There are three pillar boxes in front of a white house (only two are visible from the road). Parkinbg is not possible directly infornt of the house, but unrestricted parking on Sudbury Road is available approximately 100 yards further along. There is no wheelchair access to the site except by special arrangement due to the uneven and stepped nature of the site.
