Genuine Royal Mail post box

Post box For Sale -

1952-54 " W T Allen & Co" B size wall box in good condition, but missing collection plate bar and no key for lock. These earlier "& Co" boxes are considered rare. A collection plate and tablets can be supplied at extra cost.

Price 400 (LBSG members 350).Buyer collects from Essex or can arrange transport at cost throughout the UK. Please contact the Curator to express your interest in this box.

New Postal themed Greetings Card

Bures card

These charming cards depict the post being collected from the unique Carpenter's Box at Bures SPO in Essex with a nifty Morris van and Postie in 1960's uniform. They are blank inside for your own message and come with envelopes, priced 1.50 each plus 35p post each or 5 for 6.50 UK post free.

Stamp your own letters! - Genuine GPO cancellation "composition" ink

These two bottles are surplus to our needs. The plastic bottle contains Black composition for regular franking and the porcelain bottle contains green ink for cancelling registered letters and parcels. Each bottle is full and costs 5. We also have black in porcelain.

Rare set of colured glass from a closed sup-post office advertising Post Office Savings Bank. These beautiful panes were once glued to the outside of SPO windows. Now very scarce. Dates from 1960. The Office piece is broken as you can see. 75 the set.

Postage and packing will be extra on the Enamel plate and glass. Post included on the plastic plates. If you use Paypal to buy an item we will send you a separate Paypal invoice for the postage when your goods are ready for despatch.
